GPCET is comprised of diligent students who are always learning more about contemporary social and environmental concerns, sustainable development, and social ethics with an eye towards service and global development. We educate individuals on how to be leaders and managers and on their social duties to the nation.

“Lighting up Lives, One Smile at a Time” is the slogan for our community outreach and empowerment centre.

Objectives:

  • To create an environment conducive to the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of students, while instilling the principles of good citizenship.
  • To perform activities both on and off campus for the benefit of society and the improvement of the living environment.
  • to participate in partnership with other organisations in carrying out social outreach projects.

The Institute values the services offered by students and employees and considers their participation in such endeavours to be duty-related. The community network expands through activities with the NSS and NCC, MOUs, and social gatherings.

These activities pertain to the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the National Service Scheme (NSS), and the Youth Wing of the Red Cross Society, among others.

All of the activities organised by the aforementioned organisations receive funding from the institute.

Initiatives for Inclusive Environment

The institute has always endeavoured to provide a welcoming environment and foster tolerance and social harmony among its students and employees from various backgrounds. Our institute is comprised of students and employees from diverse socioeconomic, linguistic, regional, communal, and cultural backgrounds. The Institute has long encouraged activities that aim to develop a sense of community by promoting the ideals of tolerance and harmony. We conduct different events under the auspices of departmental associations, various clubs, parent-teacher meetings, the Institute Alumni Association, the NCC, the NSS, the EBSB Club, etc., in an effort to foster a culture of inclusiveness among the Institute’s various stakeholders. These platforms foster a sense of teamwork, imitation, and leadership among the pupils. This is a quick description of some of the significant actions performed by the Institute in an effort to disseminate the message of honesty and acceptance.
