After obtaining autonomy, a separate exams cell was established during the academic year 2018–2019, with the principal as the Chief Controller of Examinations. The cell is headed by the Controller of Examinations, supported by three additional Controllers of Examinations.

The Controller of Examinations shall supervise day-to-day activities concerning examinations and be responsible for the preparation of a draught academic schedule, an examination timetable, the conduct of examinations, the declaration of results, the issue of marks memos, etc. There are a sufficient number of supporting staff members to look after the examination-related activities.

The Exam Cell has integrated software that handles the entire process, from student registration for the exam to the publication of final results. Adequate infrastructure facilities are provided and are constantly improved for the conduct of examinations.
