Accreditation and Affiliation

G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology is Permanently Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA), Ananthapuramu with vide Procds. No.JNTUA/DAAO/A2/Permanent Affiliation/AT/2018-19, dated 03 Oct, 2018. It received permanent affiliation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, Ananthapuramu from the academic year 2018-19 to 2020-21.
G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide letter no F.No. South-Central/1-9322599384/2021/EOA dated 02 July, 2021.  AICTE Approval Letters
The College is accredited by National Board of Accreditation NBA, New Delhi for the following three branches of Engineering:

The College has been accredited with a CGPA of 3.03 on a four point scale at ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of Six years till 31 December, 2023.

Autonomous Status

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has awarded Autonomous Status under UGC autonomous colleges scheme, to G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology , Kurnool for a period of Ten years from 2018 – 19 to 2027- 28.  All the 09 UG Courses –  CSE, CSE(AI),CSE(DS),CSE(AI and ML),CSE(IoT), ECE, EEE, ME, and CE are under Autonomous status along with 04 PG Courses – M.Tech (CSE), M.Tech (DECS), M.Tech (EPS), and MBA.

Recognition Under Section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of  UGC

G.Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology has been recognized under section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter no F. No. 8-93/2016 (CPP-I/C) dated 12 May, 2016 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Now the college is under the head “Non-Governament Self Financed” Colleges teaching upto Master’s degree to make it eligble to receive central assistance. The college would also be eligible to get grant for all UGC schemes related to teachers and students.
